a good solution, abeit an expensive one.  they tried that on sf vs.
x-men for saturn, bundled it with a ram pak you stick into the system
with the game.  2 problems:
1.Even with the extra ram, there was still a few pauses (let's not
forget, you have to load the character, all his/her moves, etc.)
2.The whole thing cost about 80 bucks.
They did it in japan so far, and capcom thinks it'll flop in the U.S.
You see, having those two extra characters ready to leap out sucks up a
ton of extra memory, and sf vs. x-men was nothing compared to Marvel
Super heroes vs. street fighter.
