I'll have to try some aluminum sometime.  I've used phosphor bronze (part
to a outboard motor) for a while and that works well and have spent most of
the grinding with galvanized pipe end caps. I've also tried zamac and it
doesn't seem to work well with finer grits as something happens and there
is a scratch happening. Bob May
