Andrew Bricknell to John Snelson on 13 Jul 96 23:12:23 33.6K upgrade for
modems! ... {at}N
Hi Andrew,
Well ... you can see how long it took ....
I got the modem back today, Thursday 25th ... so It took say 20 days. I
delivered it myself to North Ryde, and it came back today by courier.
I have not yet interrogated the chipset, but I will soonish.
What Hayes command should I enter to get a picture of wot dose guyses
have dun to me modem ?
Secondly, what might be a bonzer init string do you think ? I am using
Telix for DOS for access to the BBS and Ozemail/Shiva for access
to the net.
Thirdly ... the MODEMCFG program that comes with Telix for DOS does not
list any NetComm modems ... or any modems capable of 28800 never
mind 33600 .... any ideas ?
Cheers,
John
