    Jason,
                     If your outside tiles are worn off you used the wrong
tiles. I made this mistake by using tiles that were too soft. I had to
epoxy harder tiles to the tool. Take a nail to the back of the tile &
see if you can dig a hole. You should'nt be able to do anything but scratch
the back.
                     Don't try to flatten anytyhing at this point. You have
a long way to go. Just work tool
on top and your depth will come up.
