When using a tool, which is smaller than the mirror, should one use the
same length of the
strokes as with a full size tool or should one use a stroke, which gives
the same overhang?
Example:
10” mirror with 10” tool and the 1/3 COC fine grinding stroke gives 10”/6=
1.7” overhang
10” mirror, 8” tool TOT same length of stroke gives 0.7” overhang 10”
mirror, 8” tool MOT same length of stroke gives 2.7” overhang
