 CH> Hello Jeff,

CH> Try DEL COM?. (Just make sure that you don't
 CH> have anything else that
 CH> matches that filemask).

No luck, here is what happened:

[I:\]>dir com?

The volume label in drive I is OS2.
The Volume Serial Number is A768:5C15.
Directory of I:\

21/12/96 15:06 6 0 com2
        1 file(s) 6 bytes used
                    66831872 bytes free

[I:\]>del com?
I:\com2
SYS0003: The system cannot find the path specified.

[I:\]>

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I think
this file is here to stay, at least until I decide
to change disks, partitions, etc.
I have just recently ungraded so the next time
should be a long way off.

  Jeff
