While listening to Ronald Chesney Pete heard:Telix
G'day Ronald
RC> Thanks for the note I see what you are saying about the init
RC> strings. My problem was I got a new Netcomm Roadster 288 and
RC> also got Cooee software with it when I set up the program and
RC> the Modem all I could get was Baud rates of 9600 to 14000.
RC> I got on to Netcomm and was given new init strings but that did
RC> not improve things, I then tried a number of Init strings and
RC> that did not improve.
RC> to cut a long story short when I got Telix for windows it auto
RC> detected the Zomm Modem and the init strings and I started
RC> getting connect rates between 21000 and 26000 so I just stuck
RC> with the above strings and decided to let it keep going the way
RC> it is.
You might find it detected the modem as a Zoom because Zoom is at the
bottom of the list.
RC> Copied your messsage and will keep it just in case things go
RC> wrong.
Hope it's of some help.
Pete.
