I found out the charity that refurbishes and recycles computer equipment 
where I work each Wednesday night only keeps and uses 3com cards because 
windows which they most frequently install only knows about the whole 3com 
line but all other cards need drivers so smartco throws those other cards 
out whenever those come in.  Looks like finding a couple realtech 8139 
cards is going to get a little more complex than I had originally figured.
