From: "Vladimir Galogaza" To: "ATM shore" Reply-To: "Vladimir Galogaza" Joseph, A compliant hinge is when two pieces are connected together (hinged) by means of a something flexible. Flexibility of this something allows for mutual displacement of those two pieces. There are many solutions, some of them ingenious like Don Clements focuser, for its simplicity. Individual solutions differ depending on kind and amount of displacement those two pieces are supposed to be allowed to perform ( linear, angular, coplanar coaxial, you name it). Check Google for " flexures" or "flexure joints" Regards Vladimir. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-4* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/100 1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
