I have not, however, seen any cosmetic improvements. I have used broken glass with some interesting effects, but I ended up with very inhomogeneous concrete. I used it for grinding and this is now my favorite grinding tool: concrete with embedded (brokwn) glass for coarse grinding and then ceramic tiles when I get my curve and have gotten to about 400 grit. My mirrors are F/1.0 to F/1.5, so this makes some sense. The tiles are so thin that I would grind right through if I used them from the onset.
