Yes, I've recently heard from Mike via email, and he's indicated that
he *is* working on Alexi/Mail...details below.

Btw, sorry there hasn't been any word on Alexi/Mail. Trust me it's
definitely being worked on in one way shape or form :). Still working
out the new design structure because of issues regarding flexibility
and expandability.

If I can get the design right. I'll be able to expand it to support
other packet formats and even throw in a filefix with relative ease.
It's just a matter of getting the design right that's posing a slight
problem.
