Hello Mate,
That is a wise decison, I heard Optus is also going to enter the market soon,
around where I reside there is optic fibre being laid so there will be
enough bandwidth for cable modem, as technology advances, things get faster
one rule never changes, everything costs money !!!
I believe though that modems will not be fast enough and cable modems are a
better answer and a more cost effective answer than ISDN when surfing the net
My ISP, when connected to the U.S is so slow, a 1MB file takes 20 min, on a
bbs it only takes 5-6 minutes at 28800, but I guess there is also thousands
others connected at the web site where as bbs the users connected are less.
So mate tell me, are you a member of the Sydney PC User's Group ? is it good?
