No it's not the default setting (and can't be as it's one of the settings
that cannot be stored in NVRAM).  It's just that the action of the commands
changed in the firmware upgrade to the one that gives 33.6 and what you
described was one of the symptoms of using the 28800 commands in the 33600
version.
