And that really puzzles me. From what most users report, compressed
SLIP and PPP seem to be THE standard. So why in the world did the
authors of STiK choose to only support uncompressed SLIP? Was it not
possible to implement compressed SLIP or PPP?

Ok, that's a good idea. But how 'bout this:Linux 68xxx running
Netscape? System Solutions now has a Linux 68xxx CD with GEM install
program. Atari World Mag. mentioned that it will run the Unix
version of Netscape. Can't get much more standard than Unix to Unix!
I'm just holding off on buying the CD until I hear just how fast
Linux will run Netscape on my Falcon. Ah well-at least we have
options! :-)
