I have a slackware 14.2 package of syncterm 1.1b that I built from source I
downloaded from syncterm.bbsdev.net a couple months ago. It is 64bit and it
works for me.

I don't know if it will work for you but let me know if you'd like to try it
and I'll send it over. It would be easy to install on slackware but it it is
just a tar.xz file that you can navigate with any file manager like mc.
