From: "Mel Bartels" To: Reply-To: "Mel Bartels" >>> I was wrong in what I said here. I'm mixing apples and oranges. I don't know why you got different diffraction here. You should not have. Do you have images showing this? It defies what I learned in optical classes and what we observed in our tests. <<< Had a chance tonight to spend time looking at diffraction caused by different thickness bars. I used wire of differing thicknesses. The diffraction is immediately obviously increased by the thicker wire bars. Not only is the diffraction spike more intense, but it is longer too. It's obvious at low power but particularly glaring at high power. Mel Bartels --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-4* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/100 1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
