I seldom post here but have been in the echo for as long as it's been here I
think.  I'm trying to recall how long this echo has been here.  It may have
been one of the ones we ported over from ADAnet (American Disability
Network) back in the early 90's.

ADAnet did in fact have authorized gateways, but was a fidonet sty;e network
and it's gates were between it and Fidonet.  I recall working several of them
(George Peace, Bob Satti).  At that time, a gate had to be authorized by the
IC after both network's Moderators came to full agreement that they would
allow the gate.
