I have also just started trying to use COOEE with a Spirit modem (Spirit
II) and I get fatal errors. I had a look on Netcomm's web page
www.netcomm.com.au and noticed a suggestion that CYBERSOFT BBS has
additional modem drivers. So far (only started today) I have not been able
to contact that BBS. 
In the meantime I'll try to break into the COOEE modem drivers file to see
if I can "bastardise" something to fit.
