| subject: | Java in Warp 4 broken |
>> Was your's the first or second pre-release? Did you upgrade >> the JDK as detailed on the dnload page? > Not sure which version; I downloaded it about two weeks ago. > I did not see any mention of upgrading the JDK on that page. > Does this mean Warp's java is horrendously broken as > shipped? More that Java is a moving (developing) target. We're expecting Java V1.1 rsn.. hopefully included in WARP V4.1 in a couple mths. It's worth noting that OS/2's Java support is reportedly -the- fastest in the business. > I never saw any mention of OS/2 in the instructions. It (SmartSuite for Java) was a seperate OS/2 specific archive, and from memory some installation details were on the OS/2 dnload web page. The archive name I have here is cojos2.zip (2791005 bytes).. They may have a newer one by this stage. >> What are SGI's? > Silicon Graphics. Video cards?.. Is this a guessing game? :) Regards. --- Msgedsq/2 2.2e* Origin: The Library Network (3:690/613) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 620/243 623/630 625/160 626/660 640/201 217 222 230 238 SEEN-BY: 640/254 257 297 299 302 305 309 311 370 375 386 547 702 820 821 822 SEEN-BY: 640/823 837 838 690/115 254 370 388 416 426 500 501 613 643 660 682 SEEN-BY: 690/718 750 711/401 413 430 934 712/311 407 505 506 517 623 624 704 SEEN-BY: 712/841 713/317 714/906 772/20 800/1 @PATH: 690/613 660 640/201 820 712/624 711/934 |
