Specifically, what non-Intel?  Are you talking about an AMD 486 or 586, or
are you talking about going from a Cyrix 6x86-100 to a Pentium 100 or what?
 As you can probably guess, I'd be very surprised to see the Cyrix
underperforming a Pentium with the same speed.  BFN.  Paul.
