The professional interfrometric results should be quite good enough
although having somebody else do testing on the mirrors will be a nice
additional set of info.
I wouldn't worry too much about the quality of the mirrors other than they
don't have astigmatism in them.  The object here is to find out what the
errors are and having errors will make the test more definitive. Too bad
you are so far from me as I can supply a fair number of mirrors for
testing, including a Richard Schwartz fused mirror that I'd love to see
what happens when that thing gets on the tester. Bob May
