I have a Compaq ProLiant 1600 Server running Novell ver. 4.11 with the
latest service packs and am trying to connect the Compaq CD Storage
System (7 CD Tower). The SCSI card connecting this unit is a Adaptec
2940UW and I am using AIC7870.DSK in Novell. ASPICD, ASPITRAN, and a
specific driver (CDDRV.DSK)for SCSI Express (which came with the CD
Tower) is also being loaded.
The SCSI Bios recognizes the tower, (and LUN's associated with the
individual drives), but Novell doesn't seem to recognize the existance
of this unit.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The CD Tower is the only device connected to the Adaptec card, there
are three other SCSI cards installed in this machine (all Compaq, two
imbedded and one in a pci slot).
