Can someone help me? I am trying to get a NT RAS client to dial into
an NT RAS server to access Novell services with IPX. When I try to
connect to the RAS server, it tells me that the server fialed to
connect with the IPX protocol because the netowrk number is invalid.
I went to the MS knowledge base and got dome info. They told me that
an NT machine has an internal and external IPX address, and that I
needed to either assign a unique IPX number to the segment that the NT
Ras server is on or install the Netware server onto the same number as
the NT RAS server. Itr ied assigning a new number to the NT Ras
server, but it still wouldn't connect and the Netware server said that
the NT server had the wrong IPX address. I can't taake down the
server to change its IPX number, so what other things can I try? Any
help would be mosst appreciated. The Netware server is v4.11 and the
NT as server is 4.0 with service pack 6. Thanks again. Please email
me at toy1@mediaone.net.
