Gluing glass together has been tried by several different ATM's and pro's
over the years. The results range from disasterous to barely passable.
Fusing glass in an oven can work, but is neither a way to save money for an
individual worker, nor likely to succeed reliably without a lot of practice
or specialized knowledge.
