Hello,
The cause of time sync errors could be many different things. Like wrong
design of time sync network bad communication between the servers or
changing the server time in a not normal way.
How to prevent
make a good design (take a look at the design and implementations course nr
575) adjust your time sunc configuration to avoid problems caused by slow
WAN links. be sure update packets (SAP or NTP) are able to reach all
servers.
choos your dominating time source outside you network (think of a atomic
clock signal. Receivers and software are easy to get. example: Tobit time
lan. Tobit is a german company)
