Thanks Hendry.
Got in a NetGear FA311
At install I get to "driver" screen does not detect NIC
Escape out of install, down server, restart install.
On second round I get to driver screen-still doesn't autodetect but I choose
modify-insert etc and
I finally get NW to seek the driver on the floppy.
I install the driver and have to provide the slot number for the PCI Card-I
choose slot 1
(According to the online doc's this should be ok)
However after I "ok" everything the system tries to install the driver
(FA311.LAN) the sytem hangs
Tried this three times, same result every time.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Winston
