If some good ATM soul will make simple data acquisition circuit for linear
CCD ( from existing dedicated ICs), it perhaps could
 be solution to high resolution-low price lensless (!)
camera for Foucault one diameter KE/Wire testing Robo gear. 2Kpixel linear
CCD is quite common.  Avilable14x200 micrometer pixels will  take care for
some vertical shadow graininess averaging.
