Sounds like that is a bit frustrating if you look at it that way. I
normally get such developer stuff for more esoteric stuff and don't worry
too much about the stupidities of windoz stuff. I will note that VB handles
any calls to a DLL without any real problems.  I do believe that it
requires the "C" calling convention (another stupidity of the
nitwits at Redmond) in order to do the call but it can be done.  Since this
isn't my direction in programming, I don't really know any more than this
basic stuff.  From my few whacks at trying to get VB to do imaging stuff, I
wouldn't be supprised if it does take some time to get an image in VB tho. 
There should be some quick way to get an image into a picture frame tho.
