From: "Bob May" To: "atmlist" Reply-To: "Bob May" By under the house, I assume that you have a basement rather than the house being on stilts or piers and everything just being on the ground outside? If you have a garage, especially a seperate from the house one, then that would be an excellent place to do the work. Doing the testing with the bench on the ground or concrete pad on the ground is the best way as nobody will affect the stability by walking about. After the sun goes down is also a good time to do the test outside also and that will allow for the rapid test and measure cycles that tend to happen at the end part of figuring. Sometimes the guys get kind of antsy when I do a quick test and then walk away from the tester for a half hour while the glass settles out for temp and then finally do a good sharp test. They know what is going on but still want to have the answer right now!
