Thanks - this is very handy. I am not metric-phobic, but my tester
reads out in 1000's of an inch and late at night I am not so good at the
multiplying by 25.4 thing. My spreadsheet works, but your program is
definitely nicer. Good work.

Subject: ATM FrontSix a "front end" program for Sixtests
Hi atm's
I have written FrontSix, a program to ease the chore of getting data into
Sixtests. It does unit conversion, 1st zone zeroing, zone reversing,
averaging and standard deviation. It outputs a file in Sixtests input
format.
Perhaps the most useful feature is that it will take multiple reading sets,
average them and output the resulting Sixtests file. It will deal with up
to 20 reading sets on 20 zones.
Data sets can be stored and recalled for later addition or editing.
With this program, a calculator or spreadsheet should no longer be necessary for
preparing Foucault data for Sixtests. Also, the millimeter phobic
have an easy way to coexist with Sixtests. If your tester, like mine,
reads smaller numbers as you move away from the mirror, this program will
easily deal with that.
