 I have had a Roadster for quite a while now, I have it set for ATZ0 for
 MNP 10 and ATZ1 for everything else.
 The best for this modem is 115200 port speed, %C3 compression, \N3 for
 Error Correction, that way you have the option of MNP if the other modem
 doesn't support V.42.
 So basically for standard BBS use you want a string like this:

 AT&F%E2%C3\N3W2+MS=11,1,300,28800M1L2X4&D0

 and whatever else you like (this is assuming it's a roadster 28.8K V34) if
 it's a V.Fast you'll need to substitute +MS=11,1 with +MS=74,1 in case
 you didn't already know. You also want CTS/RTS flow control because
 all of the others are pretty poor. You can force the modem to connect at
 28.8K if you want to but it drops carrier sometimes, just type
 +MS=11,1,28800,28800 but don't forget the AT thingy.
