I'm trying to configure a Hewlet packard Laserjet4 with a print server
card installed. It's connected to a hub via cat5 cable. It's a first for

me. I thought  did everything right using Novell Net Admin, HP's
Jetadmin and Load pserver but I get strange results when printing. The
windows95 test pages print fine. The printers "self test" pages print
fine when the command is issued with software through the network or at
the printer itself. I've tried various HP laserjet4 drivers that are
included with Win95. The symptoms are when pages are printed, text seems

to be preceede with control characters, many blank pages are fed out of
the printer, etc. Does anyone have any Ideas? Is it possible that the
firmware needs to be flashed on the print server card?
