Hello Mark
I have downloaded and tried to use the Front Six Program. First let me
congratulate you on a beautiful and easy to understand presentation. I had
made a spreadsheet myself for reducing my readings so that I could generate
thre data in the format required by Six Tests. Your program makes the task
very much easier. How ever I have some observations . I do not know whether
there were some programming constraints which have resulted in these
obstructions to even better utilisation or whether these originate from
shortcomings in my system
,so please bear with me.
Data Entry is difficult. Can entries not be made directly in the relevent
cells instead of going via a separate data entry window for "Zone
Radius" as well as "Measurement Entry". Each time one has to
click on the next cell in the table to make a fresh entry. Even the cursor
arrows or Tab key does not work to move to next cell.
While Sixtests starts on clickling the button, all cells in Sixtests setup
are blank. One has to go to start setup and click on the
"Temp.set" file to get the data. Once again thanks for amn
excellent presentation which would increase the usage of Six Tests.
As for me I'll unfortunately have to continue to use my spreadsheet as
there are a few earlier steps like converting the dial readings to inches
and then converting the sum of scale and dial to mms which need to be done
before I get KE readings in mms.
Thanks for a nice program and best luck. Ulhas Dehpande
