This is a repeat request for information. I have a 77 1/2 Ford F-250 4wd 
iboy
pickup that I've owned nearly 10 years now and I've never had a need with
Illinois to actually verify the frame serial number for plates. I now live in
Kentucky and they have to see it. The door mounted "warranty plate" has long
since fallen off, and I need info as to where the actual VIN is on the frame.
The best thing would be to have someone reply with what the actual owner's
manual says. I've gotten one reply from a person (Thanks) that says Haynes
manual says it's on the right front frame visible from the engine 
ompartment.
Anyone actually seen this on their truck?
Any information greatly appreciated.
