Chris,

The NET.CFG file has one error, and that is, the
statement reads, EL90X.DOS, and instead, should
simply read EL90X. Thus, this statement is being ignored.

Please remember that any NIC card driver that ends in
".DOS" is not a driver for DOS for NOvell, but rather
it's a NDIS 3.0 driver, not an ODI driver. In other words,
Novell's drivers end in "*.COM" and Microsoft's end
in "*.DOS"

Thus, a typical installation would be like this:

contents of STARTNET.BAT:

c:\nwclient\lsl.com
c:\nwclient\el90x.com
c:\nwclient\ipxodi.com
c:\nwclient\vlm /mx
f:
cx
(change to your desired context)
login servername/volume name

Your NET.CFG file likewise will be in c:\nwclient as a typical
directory. Press F8 when you boot up your machine. If
startnet.BAT will usually be invoked from AUTOEXEC.BAT
Thus, you'll be able to see each driver load one a time,
and learn the location of the drivers and which drivers
are or are not loading.

                     Good luck.
