Dale,
If you have grinded out to the edge, or close to it,
you a finished hogging. From your measures you will have no problems
getting 120grit to complete your depth. As a matter of fact keep your
strokes
semi-light not to go deeper than you want. I think you should have gone to
120 earlier. You should be
OK just keep track of your depth while chasing pits. Sometimes while
getting rid of pits you can deepen
the sagitta when using the larger grits. If you are not to the edge of the
mirror it will all grind out. 80 grit is made to cut a hole..hopefully a
round one. Some people start with 120, though it takes longer.
