Hello Jean,

In a msg of , Jean Cretin wrote to Stephen Moosehart:

Itsa nice to hear about an honest politician! Assa most people know,
an honest politician is a politician who stays bought!

JC>>> Da means was da easy part; we jus' lock dat Paul Martin in de

JC> Dat's de Prime Ministaire's main job; to know not'ing...

Issa the same thing true for the U.S. President? Iffa thats so, it
could explain a lot.

Moosehart issa maybe some sorta half-baked idealist. For example,
like any other multi-national corporate entity, my associates and I
contribute to every political party and candidate that looks to have
a decent chance of being elected.

(A quick aside to the PR guys: Sorry about temporarily losing the
"authentic ethnic accent which ties into cultural stereotypes which
may help with marketing and also give us a more friendly image".
I'll try to do better, but what do you expect? What with needing to
keep up with modern management techniques and rapidly evolving
technology, even mafia executives have MBAs these days.)

SM>> government. If nothing else, I certainly liked the Liberal election
SM>> promises much better than what Conservatives like Mike "Common Sense
SM>> Revolution" Harris and his successor Ernie Eves were selling...

One part offa the Conservative platform that my associates liked was
the privatization idea. Why, Harris was almost persuaded to sell the
government run liquor stores, and they are pretty much the only part
of the Ontario government services that actually generate revenue.
Thatta gave us hopes that we could convince the government to get out
of the numbers racket! While I think sayings like "A lottery is a tax
on the mathematically challenged" issa cute, we really lost a lotta
income when all the governments lured all our numbers betters over to
their lottery scam. Losing the numbers racket was even worse for us
than when governments started licensing off-track betting parlors!

So, for us, the Conservative Party and their ideas about privatizing
government services give us the hope that a Conservative government
woulda give us back our traditional gambling turf!

Speaking of gambling, you do notta want to getta me started about the
spread of dose government licensed casinos. Every time they see a
good money maker like gambling or booze, they either tax it to death
or move in themselves. Those casinos are just one more example!

Justa to stoppa Moosehart from whining, remember that iffa we wanta to
share our cute "tear lines" and "origin lines" witha
alt.moose.rights
readers, we need to copy them into the message text and alter them so
they don't begin with the "triple hyphen" or the "space and
asterisk".

Respectfully yours,
