subject: KTX modem

Hello Bill,

One of our members is having difficulties connecting to the NetComm M34F
here at better than 1200 bps. I am not familiar with this modem so my
suggestion is to lock the modem to 28.8 using a Bxy command. I haven't
seen a manual for these modems and, while the settings look ok, I'm only
guessing.

I have seen that you have used one of these modems - can you advise what
changes he should make to his settings to connect at more reasonable
speeds?

Thanks for your help.
