Since I upgraded to os/2 v4, I've found an interesting sound quirk which I didn't have in v3. I have a sb16 scsi-2 sound card. When I exit a winos2 session, the sound volume in os2 goes way up. I have to reset it manually. I've tried various mixers with little success. The mixer software sb16wmix.exe that came with the card seems to control the sound in the winos2 session, but does not prevent it being reset higher on exit. It appears to be a once only increase, and not incremental. I have the two setting on the 'sound' icon (volume, and enable) set on. Am I missing something? Do others find this?
