Wouldn't it have been better if the people who create these problems with
echoes, as in the echolist, not be able to do so? i.e. No moderator
listing, just the echo tag and a description to keep folks like you happy?

Impossible...the elist software in use /didn't allow for dupe tags. Still
doesn't.

I think the solution was to carry Ward's echo under a different tag
name...Moravsik finally gave it up after traffic died out.

Easy...no list, no chance of anyone stealing an echo tag...I don't
advocate how they did/do it in Z2 as it gives too much power to one
person. This may not be exact, but, they no longer have a list like this
one. Theirs is on the honor system and the only way to become a moderator
of an existing echo is to go through Ward or hold an election.
