On several occasions recently I have updated echos myself on behalf of
but without instruction from others. In most cases the echos were thought
to have been updated but were accidentally allowed to expire. I am not
thinking
of anyone in particular here. But I did so to prevent the echo from being
grabbed by someone else until I had a chance to contact the most recent
moderator of record. In all cases they were glad to get the echos back.
