PC> G'day Andrew
AS> The modem is a Creative Labs Modem Blaster 33.6 External on Com1.

AS> It works flawlessly to connect to my ISP using DUN. Throughput is

AS> At times the Error Correction LED flashes like crazy!!!
PC> This is a TX flow control problem though the settings above state you

Hello Pete,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, hardware flow control is enabled in
Hyperterminal and I am using the TAPI interface. I have partly
worked around the problem by connecting only at 19200 bps to
BBSs. This results in better connects / uploads. But still I
use 115,00 bps to my ISP with blinding downloads and a rock
solid 33.6 connection. Figure that out!!!!!
The tech guy from Creative Labs blamed the phone lines and also
suggested that I disable error correction ( why?? ) which I have
not tried yet.
Any other thoughts?
Andrew Strong,
... I used up all my sick days, so I'm calling in dead.
