I have no trouble using a 14.4K modem locked to 38400 on an Amiga 1200,

which is multitasking and has an un-buffered serial port, equivilent to

an xx450. NO CRC errors at all, regardless of what else you are doing.



57600 can give a few CRC errors though.....



I guess this is just one of the reasons I still keep my trusty old Amiga

next to my Pentium :)) (Not that I've used it much lately, but thats another

story....)
