Hi,

We are running Netware for Small Business 4.11. Also on the network is an
NT Server who lives only to carry MS SQL Server. People log into the NW
server and get a connection automatically to the NT server. Aside from
that, the NT server sits quietly and does nothing which is how we like it.

We plan to upgrade our workstations to Windows 2000. The remote/unattended
install and application installation features of Win2k are very attractive
but we wouldn't want it to do anything else.

Microsoft are trumpeting the total feature set of Win2k with the server and
helping us to migrate from Netware to Win2k. We don't want *>any<* of the
features except the automatic roll-out of workstation software and we have
no intention of trusting our business to a Microsoft platform.

Does anybody know if it's possible to get Win2k Pro Server to sit quietly in
the corner and do only what we ask it to without it interfereing with
Netware?
