I beg to differ, I'm afraid.  Tried taking any SNR or Y11 stats with the
latest x2-capable SDL yet?  And Class 2.0 still won't receive multiple
faxed documents (Class 1 is OK though).  And now we have some fairly late
model Sportsters which can no longer connect with the latest Courier SDL,
unless the V.42 detect phase is disabled first.  USR appear to have lost
the plot again, and one can only hope that things will change when they are
finally acquired by 3Com.
