     Bill,

    I would call Meade and check out the mechanics of the scope before
possibly trashing a scope
that someone else would buy from you.  Power viewfinders can be made easily
out of old telephoto
lenses an a cheap diagonal and eyepiece, I have two of them. Surplus
Shed......my friend
