The Series 5 M7F (still here) seems to have that worked out properly,
though I've not yet got around to trying it inbound.  It still goes for
BTLZ over MNP4 whenever it gets the chance, though .. leading me to assume
that my ISP runs Netcomm racks.  My manual (ta again John :) says this
combination gives faster compressed throughput than BTLZ/LAPM, which might
just be so.
