Yep, think it's the chicken or the egg thing with a lot of
echoes.  NO recent posts seen so possible newcomers or
lurkers don't participate by posting queries or info.

My lady is the diabetic, I basically lurk for information.

THese days with the backbone ops folks purging dead or
inactive echoes it's easy enough to fall out of the backbone listing, or at
least backbone.na.  One reason I post rules
files at least monthly and informational posts I find
occasionally .

Kathy, my lady is what is classified as a hybrid diabetic,
something that was said a decade or so to not be possible,
but both type 1 and type 2.  Iow her body doesn't reliably
make insulin, and then when it gets the insulin, either
externally or made by her pancreas it doesn't utilize it
properly.  HEnce she does the metformin/glucophage type
drugs, as well as injected insulin.
She was not diagnosed for years when she should have been,
so lots of complications as well.
