Russell, at 06:07 on Sun, Mar 30 1997, you wrote to Peter Lane-Collett ... PL>> of things because they can't figure out how to make them work. For what PL>> it's worth I don't have a real lot of faith in Netcomms.` RB> Why is that Pete, Can't YOU make THEM work!!!! RB> De-Ja Vu, Pedro OOH I knew you'd say something. Mainly because when they fail (and they used to with some regularity) Netcomm's repair policy sucked. The modems also had a habit of not talking to many overseas modems. That and the fact that Netcomm didn't, and for all I know still don't, implement standards properly and misrepresented the capabilities of their modems to potential customers. FWIW they make excellent anchors when encased in a little concrete.
