I a solution though it might not be the best one.  I run a TSR called
slowdown.com before the door starts, and I unload it when the door exits.
I've read others say they use the /M:50 command line argument to emulate a
50MHz 486 but my doors don't seem to work no matter which /M:xx setting I
use.  They do work when I use /A which emulates a 5MHz 286.  At least they
run now :)
